WNBA DFS Breakdown – 5/20/18

It feels great to be back writing for FanCave!! I want to thank Joe for giving me the opportunity to come back after a taking a break. With that being said let’s dive into this 6 game slate that should be loads of fun!

Skylar Diggins-Smith | $7,700 – While I generally don’t like spending up at the guard position in WNBA, I think Diggins is an exception. She is a baller and the clear cut #1 option for DAL. Throw in that Glory Johnson (the #2 option) left their last game with an apparent hamstring injury makes Diggins a lock in my book. Her usage should be thru the roof and even though her price tag is high, I think it’ll be worth it. She finished last game with 18p, 6r and 9a which was good for 39 fps while playing 36 minutes.

Diana Tarausi | $6,300 – THE WNBA GOAT! Her price puts her in a great spot against SEA. She looked like she hasn’t lost a step in her first game this year. While I was a little concerned because she had such a up and down last year I believe PHO added some pieces that will allow Taurasi to return to form. This game should be close and Taurasi will most likely be chucking up shot’s which is when she’s at her best. She scored 26p in her first game against DAL and finished with 35 fps.

Sylvia Fowles | $8,100 – We watched Fowles absolutely dominate last year and I expect no different this year. She’s a double-double threat every time she steps on the floor and gets a bump with Candace Parker being out. This game does involve some blowout risk with LA being without one of their star players, but Fowles can rack up some FPS in a hurry so I think she’s in a safe spot.

Ellena Delle Donne | $7,800 – Delle Donne is a WNBA super star and is in a great spot against IND. I believe they will be able to handle business with no problem. While missing time last year due to injury she still had a great year. She is the clear cut #1 option and it will be interesting to see how things play out with her front court partner Emma Messeman sitting out due to other obligations to her national team.

Elizabeth Cambage | $3,500 – I expect Cambage’s ownership to be thru the roof tomorrow but rightfully so. She was a high draft pick  a couple years ago and left the WNBA to play over seas. Now that she’s back she made her presence felt in her first game against PHO(she’s 6’8″). She was on my radar before that game and locked her self into a must play after her performance. She scored 18p and grabbed 9r and had a couple blocks. At $3,500 this is the lowest her price will be all year people, SHE’S A FREE SQUARE. Lock her in and don’t look back! I expect her to crush value.
