Corey Kluber($11,400 FD)- This season Corey Kluber has been just as dominant as ever. He holds a 1-1 record, 1.57 ERA, .143 baa, and a 10.57 K/9 Rate. Over his career Kluber holds an 8-5 record, 3.31 ERA, .225 baa, and a 10.1 K/9 Rate. This game will be held in Puerto Rico today and it is being said that with the dimensions of the stadium it would be the 9th best pitcher’s stadium in the MLB. Kluber price is high so I can see fading in GPPs, but in cash he will be a lock.
Patrick Corbin($9,500 FD)- Patrick Corbin is a different pitcher at home. This season at home he holds a 2-0 record, 1.38 ERA, .178 baa, and a 14 K/9 rate. In his career at home Corbin holds a 25-22 record, 3.47 ERA, .258 baa, and 8.3 K/9 rate. Of course his 14 K/9 rate is unsustainable, but Corbin is now fully recovered from injuries in his past and is pitching like Ace the Diamondbacks thought he could have been years ago. Corbin is a solid GPP play and is also cash viable at a $1,900 discount from Kluber.
Zack Wheeler($7,300 FD)- Zach Wheeler came back from his injury riddled past to dominate the Marlins going 7 innings allowing 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk, and striking out 7. He even threw 83 pitches over those 7 innings. Wheeler’s stats against the Nationals will scare people off of him, but that was when he was not 100% healthy. Another thing that helps Wheeler is that this Nationals lineup is missing Anthony Rendon, Daniel Murphy, and Adam Eaton, while Ryan Zimmerman is also slumping at the plate. Wheeler is a gpp only play tonight, but I love his upside.
