• Point Guard
Shabazz Napier [ $3,500 / $3,800 ] The absence of Damian Lillard (birth of his child) will open up the door for Shabazz Napier to enter the starting lineup and see some good run, to which he has taken advantage of nicely, when Lillard missed time earlier. Memphis ranks 20th in the league defensively with a 107.8 team defensive rating and given time, Napier should pay off, greatly.
• Shooting Guard
Troy Daniels [ $4,100 / $4,400 ] Both Devin Booker and TJ Warren remain sidelined, which should allow Troy Daniels to keep his extended stay on the court, as he’s played 28+ minutes in each of his previous 5 outings, while scoring 18+ points in 4 games. LA has struggled mightily against the shooting guard position over the entire season, including lately, again helping out Daniels.
• Small Forward
Evan Turner [ $3,600 / $3,600 ] Going back to Portland, where the injury to Maurice Harkless, as well as the aforementioned absence of their All-Star, paves the way for Evan Turner to see similar minutes as he did last night, where he played 35 minutes. The Grizzlies have had some difficulties with small forwards recently and Turner is a complete player, who can fill up the sheet.
• Power Forward
Jeff Green [ $4,100 / $4,400 ] After coming back from a tough hand injury and playing just 5 contests since, Kevin Love will not suit up versus the Hornets, which will benefit Jeff Green tremendously, who has shown solid production over his last 7 matches. Although Jeff Green has only played 2 games against Charlotte this year, he does average 9/5/2, which he should be able to beat.
Alan Williams [ $3,800 / $3,400 ] With Phoenix being without the help of many of their players, including Tyson Chandler and Alex Len, the resurgence of Alan Williams will be of big help, as he returned to action versus the Celtics and put up a cool 3/5/1. It’ll be important to temper expactions for Williams, as he allotted just 15 minutes in his debut, but he’s in line to see a bit more.
Extras: Ulis, Fultz, Bacon, Nance, Allen.
