• Point Guard
Damian Lillard – 25/6/4 [ $9,400 / $8,700 ] Since returning from injury, Damian Lillard has played well, putting up 44.4+ FanDuel points in 3 of his last 4 games, while scoring 21+ points and dishing 7+ assists per game. My only concern with Lillard is that he may see Oladipo at times, hindering him for a bit, however, regardless of who he sees, he remains in play for, tonight.
TJ McConnell – 7/4/3 [ $5,100 / $4,400 ] The injury to JJ Redick has opened up a spot in the rotation, along with a decent chunk of usage and solid minutes, which could land TJ McConnell all of the above, as he has been good lately. Boston could be without guards Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart, who are currently both questionable to play, which would make McConnell even better.
• Shooting Guard
Victor Oladipo – 24/3/5 [ $9,300 / $8,500 ] Although Victor Oladipo has an immense price on FanDuel, which he is very capable of returning and more, he’s in a great spot against a weaker Blazers’ backcourt. Oladipo’s individual matchup with McCollum is a very promising one, as he owns a 104.9 defensive rating, but is actually much worse of a defender than the numbers show.
Evan Fournier – 17/2/3 [ $5,700 / $5,500 ] In his last 3 outings, Evan Fournier has been solid, putting up 33.3+ FanDuel points in 2 of those contests, and looks to be scoring the ball like he did earlier in the season. The Cavaliers possess a terrible 109.4 team defensive rating – ranking 28th among the league, and allow opponents to shoot 47.2% from the field, giving Fournier room.
• Small Forward
Jimmy Butler – 21/5/5 [ $10,000 / $8,800 ] After a relatively slow start to the year, Jimmy Butler has been very impressive, as he continues to do just about everything for the Timberwolves, with his all around game. With Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green out for tonight’s meeting, due to being suspended, Butler will have an easier time, even with the likes of PJ Tucker to guard him.
Jonathan Simmons – 13/2/3 [ $4,500 / $4,600 ] While Jonathan Simmons has been struggling to remain in a rhythm this year, he is in perhaps one of the best situations on tonight’s small 4 game slate, and certainly for a small forward. The Cavaliers have struggled against small forwards mightily, ranking as the worst DvP team, for both season long format, and the last 10 games.
• Power Forward
Domantas Sabonis – 12/8 [ $6,000 / $6,000 ] With Myles Turner remaining sidelined, Domantas Sabonis should retain his role in the starting lineup, as expected, where he has performed rather nicely. Portland has been much better versus opposing big men recently, as they had in the beginning of the season, but Sabonis is the go to guy for the Pacers down low, and is priced nicely.
Dario Saric – 13/6 [ $5,300 / $6,100 ] As mentioned above, JJ Redick’s injury has opened up minutes and usage, and while Dario Saric has been starting lately, and playing well, this will definitely give him a much needed boost. If you don’t feel safe with Ben Simmons, Saric is in an excellent spot, and put up 27.3 FanDuel points against Boston recently, backed by 14/4/3 in 33 minutes.
Karl-Anthony Towns – 20/11/1 [ $9,200 / $9,100 ] One of my buddies, Justin Savage, had mentioned earlier that Karl-Anthony Towns has absolutely dominated Houston in their previous 4 meetings – averaging 67.5 fantasy points in such matches. While, this doesn’t mean that will happen again, with Butler now in Minnesota, there’s no denying that Towns thrives in this matchup.
Bismack Biyombo – 5/5/1 [ $7,500 / $6,200 ] Bismack Biyombo has been exactly what the Magic have needed, and more, since Nikola Vucevic went down, and has put up 48.2+ FanDuel points in his prior 2 games. Cleveland has been dismal in all things defense throughout the season, and with Love at the center position, Biyombo could have his way, leading to an awesome night.
Extras: Paul, Rozier, Tucker, LeBron, Embiid.
* Kyrie out, Smart will play, opening up Rozier.
