NBA VALUE PLAYS SUNDAY 1/7
Wow yesterday was a crazy day for NBA DFS. The cash line for 50/50’s was super high and made for a lot of great lines! Today we have a 4 game slate and it should be very interesting. All the games are slated to be relatively close, the largest spread is 8.5 and that belongs to OKC as they play against PHO.
Dennis Smith $5,900 – Smith is a little out of my price range for value, but I absolutely love him today. First off there’s the draft snub narrative, second his minutes have been trending up since returning from injury and lastly I think this game will stay close and Smith will have plenty of opportunity to “show” the Knicks what they missed out on.
Dejounte Murray $3,500 – Tony Parker has been ruled out. Play at your own risk. Will be chalk.
Terrence Ferguson $3,600 – I know Joe mentioned Ferguson in his GPP article, but I actually like him today if Roberson sits out again. His matchup will be against the Suns and he could see some extended run at mid price.
Bryn Forbes $3,500 – With Danny Green doubtful, Forbes should get the start and lots of run. Will be chalky and rightfully so. He’s played in 32 and 40 minutes, scoring 28 and 19 fps.
Josh Jackson $3,700 – TJ Warren is Questionable and if he misses the game Josh Jackson instantly becomes a value play.
Ersan Ilyasova $5,500 – Ilyasova has been on fire as of late, scoring 30+ fps in 5/6 games. He’ll have a fast paced game where he’ll have a great opportunity to score 30+ again. The Lakers have given up on avg 49 fps to the position in their last 7 games.
Enes Kanter $4,900 – Kanter is a great low priced option. While he doesn’t get a lot of minutes, Kanter is very productive. In his last game he played in 24 minutes and had a near double-double for 33 fps. If Kanter gets minutes against DAL then he’ll produce, it’s just hard to tell if he’ll actually get them.
Brook Lopez $4,200 – MY GPP PLAY OF THE DAY.
