NFL DFS: Wild Card Picks

How’s it going football fans? Welcome back to the weekly NFL picks with DFS analyst, Manick Thind. Every week I will give you the best options to help you make all that sweet, sweet cash.  Hit me up on twitter (@BleedPurpleDFS) if you ever want to talk DFS or football. For reference, I will using both FanDuel and DraftKings pricing for the players. Now without further ado, lets get into the picks.

QB

Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs (FD $7,800/DK $6,300): The Chiefs have picked it up towards the end of this season by winning thier last 4 games and Alex Smith has been solid through out. This week the Chiefs are going against the worst secondary in the playoffs (Titans ranked 8th worst in pass defense this season) which should open up a lot for Smith and his weapons. People sleeping on the boring Smith but he puts up solid, consistent numbers each week.

Other Options: Drew Brees, Blake Bortles, Matt Ryan

RB

Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville Jaguars (FD $8,100/DK $7,400): I love Fournette this week especially for a relativity cheap price. This week he is going against the Bills who allowed the fourth most rushing yards per game in the league this season. Also with Jaguars style of play to pound the rock, Fournette should expect plenty of touches. With over a thousand yards rushing this season with injury issues, Fournette could do some big things against the Bills.

Other Options: Todd Gurley, Derrick Henry, Devonta Freeman, Marcus Murphy (If McCoy is out)

WR

Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs (FD $7,700/DK $6,800): I love the mini stack of Hill and Smith this week. Like I said, the Titans secondary is awful and with Hill’s speed he can burn that defense. The Chiefs at home this week can make big plays with Tyreke Hill.

Other Options: Michael Thomas, Cooper Kupp, Mohamed Sanu

TE

Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers (FD $6,500/DK $5,000): With Cam Newton’s favourite wide receiver targets being covered by a very good saints secondary, he can find mismatches with Olsen. Also has not been great this season since he has been out for so many games but he is still Newton’s favourite target and I think it will show against the Saints. The Saints have also found problems when going up against elite tight ends so this can cause nightmares for them.

Other Options: Travis Kelce, Delanie Walker

D/ST

Jacksonville Jaguars (FD $5,100/DK $4,400)

Kansas City Chiefs (FD $4,800/DK $3,400)

New Orleans Saints (FD $4,600/DK $3,200)

K

Stephen Hauschka, Buffalo Bills (FD $4,700)

Ryan Succop, Tennesse Titans (FD $4,500)

Thank you for reading and best of luck this week!
