NBA Value Plays: 12/25
Merry Christmas Fancavers! Today is one of my favorite Dfs slates of the year. We have a couple great matchups today ( if only Steph Curry was healthy enough to play…) that should make for some amazing games!
Jose Calderon $4,000– There’s a bunch of star guards on this slate but, if you’re looking for value Calderon might be your guy. I’m not a fan pf the Knicks Pg’s who are both priced low and Calderon is the only other guard in that price range who gets enough minutes. Right now he’s playing mid 20’s for minutes and is a savy vet who you can count on getting you 15-20fps. Depending on how you build your line Calderon could be very useful.
Andre Roberson $3,800 – Roberson can be very frustrating to play, but it’s games like these where he can pop off (pace bump against HOU). He’ll get the tough task of guarding The Beard, but we all know Harden can be careless with the ball. I think Roberson will make a living in this game by stuffing the stat sheet on Defense.
Josh Hart $3,800– Let me fill you in on a secret. Hart won’t be priced this low for long with KCP out. But, even in last game (where Kcp played) Hart played 34 minutes and recorded a double-double for 30 fps. Hart will be my value lock of the day for Christmas!
PJ Tucker $4,500 – Tucker has been a very consistent player as of late playing in 35 minutes and scoring around 20 fps. I like Tucker today because he will be matched up with Pg-13 or Melo. Tucker is a pretty good defensive player and should be able to score a few more buckets today due to OKC’s lack of defense. Tucker plugs in as a great SF2.
Jordan Bell $4,900– Even with Draymond back Bell is still playing the same minutes as when he was out and has been producing the same. Bell is active on the boards and scores easy buckets. I think this game will be high scoring and CLE lacks a player like Bell. Also, there’s reports Draymond is still not %100, so in that case it may even open up more usage.
Marcin Gortat $4,300– His minutes are so inconsistent it’s hard to even go here….
