How’s it going football fans? Welcome to the first edition of NFL value plays of the week with DFS analyst, Manick Thind. Every week I will give you the best options to help you make all that sweet, sweet cash. If you ever need DFS advice or want to talk NFL don’t hesitate to hit up @BleedPurpleDFS on Twitter. For reference, I will using both FanDuel and DraftKings pricing for the players. Now without further ado, lets get into the picks.
*These are my picks are sleepers only, if you want my picks of the week regardless of budget check out:
Brett Hundley, Green Bay Packers (FD $6,900/DK $5,700): Hundley is looking better each week and could be a great option if you aren’t paying up at QB. Although he did not pass for much against the Bucs, he showed that he can make plays with his feet. Going up against the dumpster fire Browns he can put up big numbers in the air and on the ground. This could potentially be the best game of his NFL career.
Peyton Barber, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FD $5,500/DK $4,500): Where did this guy come from? Barber had a breakout game last week with over 100 yards rushing. This week he is going against the Lions, who have shown weaknesses in their run defense. With Jameis Winston showing no promise, they should rely on Barber a lot this week.
Marquise Goodwin, San Francisco 49ers (FD $5,700/DK $5,100): This a great price for a #1 WR. Goodwin had a solid output in Garrapolo’s first start with nearly 100 yards receiving. They are also going against a Texans D that have allowed the third most receiving touchdowns this season. With more experience together they could put up numbers this week.
Ricky Seals-Jones, Arizona Cardinals (FD $4,500/DK $3,400): How is he still cheap this week? Jones has been one of Blaine Gabbert’s favourite targets since he got the starting job with 3 touchdowns in his last three games. He is also going against the Titans who have a bottom 10 pass defense in the league this season. For this price, he could give better production than most TE’s.
New York Jets (FD $4,500/DK $3,300): The Jets defense has good players but have not been elite this season. But I love the matchup more than the team, at this moment the stats say the Broncos offense is bottom 5 in the league, but in my eyes they are the worst offense in football right now. With the Jets solid pass rush and opportunistic secondary, the Jets could embarrass the Broncos this week.
Thank you for reading and best of luck this week!
