• Point Guard
Russell Westbrook – 22/9/9 [ $11,300 / $11,400 ] Russell Westbrook has been phenomenal as of late, putting up a minimum of 54.9 FanDuel points in his last 5 outings. Though Westbrook does have a minor issue with his hand, it’s noted that he was a full participant in practice and is good to go, tonight, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
Kyle Lowry – 16/6/6 [ $8,500 / $8,100 ] Kyle Lowry is starting to fill up the stat sheets and has scored 20+ points in 5 of his last 7 games, something he had not done until that 7 game span. His matchup, Darren Collison, is an okay defender, owning a 105.2 defensive rating, just enough for Lowry to take advantage of, again – 54 FanDuel points last meeting.
• Shooting Guard
Donovan Mitchell – 15/3/3 [ $6,800 / $6,600 ] Donovan Mitchell is as consistent as it come for a rookie and his all around game makes him a threat on any night he plays. While Jrue Holiday is a solid defender, the Pelicans, as a whole, have struggled a bit against opposing shooting guards and small forwards, paving the way for Mitchell’s explosive style.
Justin Holiday – 14/2/4 [ $5,800 / $5,800 ] One of my favorite plays on tonight’s slate is Justin Holiday, he’s in an awesome spot against the Kings and continues to play big minutes. It shouldn’t matter who Sacramento tries to put in front of Holiday, tonight, as they possess the worst defense in the league, with an awful 109.1 team defense.
• Small Forward
Paul George – 20/3/5 [ $8,500 / $8,200 ] In the previous 2 meetings between OKC and Minnesota, Paul George had solid totals, with 43.2 and 42 FanDuel points, respectively. This is yet another sweet situation for George, since Minnesota has slacked on defense all year, ranking 23rd in the league, and struggles against small forwards.
Otto Porter Jr. – 15/1/7 [ $7,000 / $6,500 ] With John Wall still out, Bradley Beal will be the main guy, but in a tough battle with Avery Bradley, Otto Porter Jr. should see nice production on the side. In the first matchup with Detroit, Porter Jr. had a sensational performance of 57.3 FanDuel points, and looks to be in line for another nice outing.
• Power Forward
LaMarcus Aldridge – 23/8/1 [ $8,900 / $8,500 ] LaMarcus Aldridge has been on fire in his last 2 contests and in a rematch with Memphis, he could easily have an encore type night. In a battle of the Gasol brothers, Aldridge, though not as likely after he torched them for 51.7 FanDuel points, could have another massive game, as they battle it out down low.
Aaron Gordon – 18/8 [ $7,900 / $7,600 ] Aaron Gordon continues to impress with his evolving game and is beginning to heat up, with 38.8 or more FanDuel points in 4 of his last 5 matches. Tonight, Gordon gets another crack at Golden State, whom he double doubled against in their first matchup, and has the comfort of home court to back him up, tonight.
Dwight Howard – 15/12/1 [ $7,900 / $7,500 ] With Kemba Walker out, Dwight Howard should certainly see more usage and it doesn’t hurt that opposing center, Hassan Whiteside will miss tonight’s game as well. While Miami does rebound well, they give up a lot of points in the paint, at an average of 43.6 per game, perfect for Howard to feast.
Steven Adams – 12/8/1 [ $6,400 / $5,800 ] This very well may be my favorite play of the night, as Steven Adams gets round 3 against KAT, who he put up solid lines against in the prior meetings this season. I don’t mean to pick on the guy, but Towns has been terrible on defense, owning a “tough” 109.5 defensive rating, and we all know the physicality Adams brings.
Extras: Dunn, Lamb, Simmons, Gibson, Drummond.
– If Rodney Hood is out, Alec Burks is a great play, tonight.
