NFL Week 10: Plays of the Week

Cash: Matthew Stafford  Fanduel: $8,200, Draftkings:$6,800
Over the last couple of weeks, Stafford has had a pretty safe, reliant floor. He has recorded 300+ passing yards in each of the last 3 games. Another plus is that the Detroit Lions simply cant get anything from the running department. Relying on Stafford to throw as much as possible has been the Lions motto this season. Factor that in with the Cleveland Browns being the 8th worst against the QB position, and you have a great cash option.
GPP- Ryan FitzpatrickFanduel: $6,800, Draftkings: $4,900
Although he is a cheap punt play, there’s more to like about the Harvard grad. In GPPs, it is always fun to look for narratives. Fitzpatrick gets a home game vs his old team, “the rebuilding”, New York Jets. The Jets are middle of the pack against the QB position. Whether its garbage time or just causal game flow, Fitzpatrick should get plenty of chances to perform on his old team.

Cash: Le’veon BellFanduel-$9,400, Draftkings-$9,800

Although he is matchup proof at this point, he gets an amazing matchup vs the Indianapolis Colts who are the 8th worst against the Rb position. Bell has put up 464 total yards in the last 3 games, averaging 154 per game. Factor in the bonus points for receptions and potential touchdowns, this should be a feast spot for Bell. Keep in mind the Colts defense gave up 148 total yards to The Houston Texans backs last week.

GPP: Ty MontgomeryFanduel- $5,300, Draftkings- $4,300

After out snapping rookie running back Aaron Jones last week, Montgomery seems to be locked into a regular role on passing down situations. Due to game planning and talent on the field, I believe this game favors Montgomery. Considering that the Packers have one of the worst o-lines in the league right now, and knowing that the Chicago Bears are one of the most heavy blitzing teams in the NFL, I could see Montgomery getting a ton of work in this game. 10+ targets is not out of question.

Cash: Marvin Jones Jr.Fanduel-$6,400, Draftkings-$6,200

You can never go wrong with a QB/WR stack. Over the last 2 weeks, no WR is averaging more points than Jones on a points per game basis. In those 2 games, Jones has put up 13 receptions, 235 yards, and 2 touchdowns. In total points on the season, he is currently WR10 overall. Take advantage of both sites since he’s priced outside the top 10 WRs on both and expect WR1 numbers this week against the Cleveland Browns weak secondary.

GPP: Adam HumphriesFanduel-$4,800, Draftkings- $3,100

With Mike Evans suspended for week 10, there’s some volume to go around. It seems like every single week, the GPP players of the world chase the long ball, td upside of DeSean Jackson. The move here is going with Humphries, pivoting off D-Jax and saving salary to allow you to spend up for elite players. Stacking Fitzpatrick and Humphries together isn’t a terrible idea. Humphries could very well get the majority of the targets by simply being the safety blanket for the Buccaneers in week 10.

Cash: Evan EngramFanduel- $7,400, Draftkings- $6,200

The rookie TE is the definition of a safe play this week. Engram has recorded 15+ Fd and Dk points in each of the last 3 games. During that span, he’s put up 15 receptions, 212 yards, and scored a touchdown in each game. Being as nice as possible, the 49ers defense is bad. Start him in confidence.

GPP: Charles ClayFanduel- $5,400, Draftkings-$4,200

Clay is fully expected to return from his Meniscus injury. People will likely wait a week to see what he’s capable of but I fully suggest you jump on the bandwagon before his price tag goes up next week. Expecting low ownership and will be Tyrod Taylor’s go-to guy moving forward. Remember, Clay was statistically the Te3 in football before getting injured.

Favorite Stack: New York Giants

Eli Manning- Fanduel- $6,700, Draftkings- $5,100

Orlans Darkwa- Fanduel- $5,300, Draftkings- $4,500

Evan Engram- Fanduel- $7,400, Draftkings- $6,200

First off, it’s never a bad idea to target this San Francisco 49ers defense. With both teams having a struggling defense, this could go back and forth and turn into a high scoring game.

Eli Manning has at least 36 pass attempts in each of the last 2 games. Many won’t look at Eli because of his last 2 games but he did play the Rams and Seahawks, who both have much better defenses than the 49ers.

Orleans Darkwa is a very sneaky play. Many people think of Giants RBs and think of Paul Perkins and Wayne Gallman, but Darkwa is the starter. The 49ers rush defense just last week allowed a 32 year old Adrian Peterson to rush for over 159 yards against them. Last week, Darkwa quietly ran for 71 yards against the Rams defense. Obvious love for Evan Engram above.
