Value Plays For Sunday 11/5
The NBA will be full of action today even though a lot of eyes will be focused on the NFL. That’s okay though because I still will have some value plays to help you out! If you haven’t already follow me on Twitter @FanCaveCody1 and ask questions before lock!
Mike James $5100 – Mike James has done a phenomenal job filling in since Eric Bledsoe decided he didn’t want to play for the Suns anymore. During that time he’s been playing high 20 minutes and hitting value pretty much every night. He’s playing the Spurs and will be matched up against 2 sub par defenders in Murray and Mills. Honestly I expect James to be chalk tonight just because he’s been hot for a couple weeks.
Mario Chalmers $4,300 – Chalmers has an excellent matchup tonight against LAL and comes in at a great price. He’ll get a bump due to the fast pace LAL plays at and he’s really been playing well as of late. He’s recorded 25 minutes in 3/4 games and above 25 fps in those games.
Jordan Clarkson $4,400 – Clarkson is another bench player who I like for value tonight because he’s great at getting to the rim. He doesn’t have as great as a matchup as he did last game with BKN (where he went for 35 fps), but I like him because he’s always in attack mode. He’s also went over 19 fps in his last 4 games including 7/9 games, making him a consistent option.
Joe Ingles $5,500 – Joe Ingles is a regular here in the Value Play article. To no ones surprise he’s back again. He’s getting starter minutes with Hayward out of the way, has a great matchup against HOU and has scored over 26 fps in every game this year besides the one he got hurt and exited the game early. At his price point, matchup and consistency he’s a lock for me today.
Jaylen Brown $5,400 – Another great Value Play at SF. To me Brown is priced too low due to his minutes, matchup and consistency. He has one of my favorite matchups today against ORL and he is going to take it to them. This game will be fast paced and I GUARENTEE Brown is a lock for 30 fps!
Taj Gibson $4,700 – Reuniting with Tibs has helped Gibson become relevant again. He’s scored more than 31 fps in 3/4 games and has another great match up tonight against CHA. He’s another starter that plays a lot of minutes and his price doesn’t show for it so if you’re looking for salary relief Gibson could be your guy!
Tyson Chandler $4,600 – I recommended Chandler yesterday and he recorded 27 fps which is what I expected from him. Chandler is a large dude and honestly can make for a hard matchup for some teams. He’ll have another one of those matchups again tonight against SA. His primary defender should be Pau Gasol who isn’t physical at all. I expect results like last night and potentially better if the Suns can keep it close.
