NFL DFS Week 9: Plays of the Week

Cash-Russell Wilson: Fanduel-$8,500, DraftKings-$7,500

The Seahawks Qb has been on fire lately. with a healthy receiving trio of Baldwin, Richardson, and Lockett, Wilson has been putting up outstanding numbers. In the last two games, Wilson has put up 826 total yards with 7 touchdowns. With the poor running game, the Seahawks are forced to pass the ball consistently. Another good stat is Wilson has recorded 4 games of 28+ performances on both sites this season. Going against the Redskins this week, Wilson should be in another shootout considering it’s the 4th highest predicted total this week. Start him in confidence.

GPP- Kirk Cousins: Fanduel-$7,500, Draftkings-$5,700

Wilson’s opponent this Sunday, Cousins will have to throw a ton to compete with the red hot Seahawks. Still a tough matchup at Seattle, but we all saw what Deshaun Watson did last weekend. Cousins has recorded 2+ touchdowns in 5 of the last 6 games. With a good game script, Cousins seems like a lock for 30+ pass attempts.

Cash-Mark Ingram: Fanduel-$7,900, Draftkings-$7,600

Ever since Adrian Peterson has been shipped out to Arizona, Mark Ingram has finally been let out of Sean Payton’s doghouse! From weeks 6-8, Ingram has been the Rb5 in football statistically based on a points per game basis. For his recent production, Ingram is actually a tremendous value. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 9th worst against the Rb position. With a positive game script, Ingram should see plenty of work. On average, 18 rush attempts per game, and 5 receptions in each of the last 3 games, Ingram is my favorite play of the week.

GPP – Kenyan Drake: Fanduel-$4,500, Draftkings-$4,000

At minimal price on Fanduel and very cheap on Draftkings, Drake is a interesting value play here. With Jay Ajayi now a Philadelphia Eagle, Drake will lead the committee backfield with Damian Williams behind him. I expect his ownership to be low since people are scared of the word committee but keep in mind this. The Oakland Raiders are 4th worst against the run. Drake is a interesting gpp dart throw due to his big play ability. Whether its a draw, or a screen pass, Drake has the chance to take it to the house. The former back from Crimson tide ran a impressive 4.45 in 40-yard dash at the combine last year.

Cash-Michael Crabtree: Fanduel-$7,100, Draftkings-$6,500

The consistency Crabtree has is absurd. In cash games weekly, he is the most underrated Wr in football. Currently priced as the Wr10 on Fanduel and Draftkings, Crabtree is currently the Wr6 in all of football on total points at the position. As if thats not impressive enough, that’s factoring in that he even missed a game. His performance is typically exceptional  due to his scoring ability. 6 touchdowns in 7 games this season. The Raiders offense should get back on track and exploit the weak Dolphins defense.

GPP- Cooper Kupp: Fanduel-$6,000, Draftkings-$4,500

With Janoris Jenkins out this week due to suspension, This receiving core is worth a look. Im hoping people look into Watkins but Cooper Kupp is the clear pick here. The rookie from Eastern Washington has out targeted Sammy Watkins in 5 of the 7 games this season. With the New York Giants being bottom of the pack in pretty much every single defensive category, look for Kupp and the L.A. Rams to record a lot of points this weekend.

Cash- Cameron Brate: Fanduel-$6,100, Draftkings-$4,500

Besides Zach Ertz, Cameron Brate is the most consistent Te in all of football. Being Winston’s safety blanket has done wonders for Brate this season. Brate has put up 8+ points on both sites in every game going back all the way to week 2. 5+ targets and 60+ yards in each of the last 5 weeks. The redone threat also had 4 touchdowns in the last 6 games. Matchup proof at this point and continues to be cheaper than other tight ends.

GPP- George Kittle: Fanduel-$5,000, Draftkings-$3,200

With Pierre Garcon being placed on the IR Thursday evening, George Kittle receives a usage boost. Kittle should get all the looks over the middle of the field. It’s doubtful many DFS players will play a 49er after the last couple of weeks, so we might seen some #criminalownership! With the Cardinals middle of the pack against the Te position, and the potential of garbage time in San Francisco, Kittle is an intriguing play.

Favorite Stack- Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton: Fanduel-$7,600, Draftkings- $6,300
Christian Mccaffrey: Fanduel-$6,100, Draftkings-$6,500
Devin Funchess: Fanduel-$6,100, Draftkings-$5,400

It all starts with Newton. Not many will be on him after that complete flop against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. He plays the Atlanta Falcons this week, who allowed Josh Mccown to put up 257 pass yards and 2 touchdowns against them last weekend.
Although he’s been a terrible runner, Dairy Sanders, AKA Christian Mccaffrey has still been DFS gold. In the entire league, he is very quietly 3rd in the league in receptions. Mccaffrey has 7+ targets in each of the last 4 games. With Benjamin out, Newton should look for C-Mac more in the pass department.

Before the trade, Funchess was out-targeting Kelvin Benjamin. Now that Benjamin is in Buffalo, why wouldn’t Funchess get a increased look in targets? Another pro is that Funchess is now the locked-in redzone option for the young Panthers offense. He could have a breakout game this weekend.

Good luck and make that money ladies and gentleman. Be sure to check out my twitter @Fancavedylan and my instagram @fancavedfs for more updates.
