Value Plays For Friday 10/20
The first article seemed pretty successful, with a lot of plays poppin’ off! Hoping for the same success tonight. As far as my plays go I would like to keep the plays at $5,500 or under. This will allow you to get the higher priced players you need to cash. Please if you haven’t give me a follow on twitter @FanCaveCody1
Terry Rozier $4,600 – Rozier seemed to be one of the guys that stepped in for Haywards minutes and he did a great job. He scored 15 pts, grabbed 7 rebs and dished out 6 assts in 26 minutes. If he continues to get those minutes he can be really productive coming off the bench for the Celtics.
Langston Galloway $3,800 – This is going to surprise a lot of people. but Galloway got the 3rd most minutes on the Pistons team in their opener. This shows how much Van Gundy trusts him and for minimum price he brings great value for your lineup. Galloway is a complete player who can stuff the stat sheet and has gone on record saying how much he likes Detroit’s second unit. I think he’s a diamond in the rough when it comes to value.
Terrence Ross $5,100 – I think it’s safe to say Ross really never lived up to his full potential in TOR. Well he’s certainly showed us what we missed out on while playing with ORL. He’s been a complete player and then some. He has a great matchup against BKN tonight and we all saw what Oladipo did to them a couple nights ago. Ross is close to must have territory for me!
Buddy Hield $5,000 – This is back-to-back articles where I’m mentioning Buddy and it’s for good reason. He’s a big part of the Kings rebuild and it showed in their first game where he racked up 32 fps. He’s much more of a offensive player, but if he heats up look out!
Jordan Clarkson $4,700 – He’s a key player off the bench for the Lakers and will be going against a poor defensive team. Look for this game to be very fast paced and that should allow for may opportunities for Clarkson to get out in transition and do what he does best… get to the basket.
Kelly Oubre $5,300 – Oubre had a great first game and I think he’s in a great spot to do the same tonight against the Pistons. He played in 32 minutes which sort of surprised me, but at his price makes for great value. Oubre also plays good defense which is key on FD where steals and blocks are now +3.
Taurean Prince $4,800 – Prince made my articles quite a few times last year and he’s back here again for good reason. He’s going to be starting and will have a good matchup. I think he will be able to use his size and create some miss matches for CHA.
Skal Labissiere $4,100 – Skal is the only Value PF I feel comfortable playing. He started last game and played 32 minutes. He recorded a double-double and has a ton of potential. He has a solid matchup with the MAVS and has a shot at crushing value.
Dewayne Dedmon $5,000 – There aren’t many value centers in good spots tonight, So I would suggest paying up at the position. But, if you are looking for someone who could do some damage look no further than Dedmon. His matchup isn’t bad and he logged decent minutes in his first game (25 minutes). I think he will end up right around value tonight due to his upside for blocking shots.
